A crash course in changing the world.
Steping Lightly
This year i decided would be the year that i would start being more eco-friendly. I have yet to start recycling because my city took away the bins. Everyone is angry about it, the bins were always filled to the top and bags stacked near it because there were so many. But my city got tired of it, sick of always having the large green steel bin in there line of vision. A festering sore in there mind, Everyone in town thought about it another way though. We all were glad to see that our city was doing something for the environment. Now everyone is just angry and disappointed.
Since that happened though, I've decided to plot out what other eco-friendly things i could do. Here they are;
Build Wind Turbines <--- a fun project, i hope to build 6 turbines, three for me and three for my family up the street.
Build a Compost Bin
Start a vegetable patch
Go Car-less <--- for the last 6 years i have car-pooled. But i want to get an electric moped.
Plant fruit trees
Get solar panels <--- installing these on my garage will be a little challenging.
Tank-less water heater. <---- Getting one of these soon
Drip irrigation? <--- with out hot Summers this is a must!
I'm also going to get the Water Pebble which limits the amount of water used in the shower and water sensors for my house plants. One day i may also start collecting rain water but this list alone could take me a few years to complete. I also, want to go completely paperless for college if possible. I want no more than three notebooks. I'm going to put all notes onto an e-reader, and buy all used books whenever possible.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat.
