It's 2020. I put together the last touches to my brother's birthday party. He would be like 27 or something. Time has gone by fast. I want to enjoy this celebration by turning on the spectacular lights I have taped across the house. I flip the switch. Nothing happens. Darn, that's not a good sign. I grab an extra flashlight and walk down to the basement. Luckily, some guy has created a backup battery. Then I think for a sec. What if everyone is using this battery for the blackout? What if all of the batteries leak and damages the world? Then I ponder for a moment. What if everyone else is thinking about the same thing as me? Then no one will ever turn their super battery either. I smile and start to go for the button to activate the battery. I stop and think again. Nah, no one will probably do that. I walk back upstairs, and sit in the dark alone. Fortunately for me, I have my own everlasting energy that will give light to the house. I open my secret box on the top of my book shelf. I open the box and smile at the contents. It was a reusable chip called the "Sunchip" that I had bought at a science convention from some science wierdo. Luckily I had the energy. Looking out of the window, I could see the dark and empty streets. I had this gift, and it was my turn to use it. This was going to be a good birthday party after all.
