Violence erupted in Jos, Nigeria recently. In the dead of night it was reported that villages in the Plateau
region on the country outside of Jos were assaulted and over 300 people were
killed in a grisly attack. The dead are mostly women and children. "

we could become one of the leading villages in Nigeria. A village which is completely run by women, who; rejected and abandoned by their husbands like X have found refuge and are now becoming an incredible source of hope and inspiration for others who are in their same situation? We can, because we made all of this, all of what you see here around you is the fruit of what 5000euros can do to a group of 50 women, who are now more than 130.

We have managed to create a wh*** self-sufficient village by creating a mini-world based upon eco-friendliness, sustainable development and fair trade. Women who are in need are accepted into our village, which was built from the ashes of what was destroyed by the men. These women are given a herd of 12 goats which they will give back to our community along with the first 3 born, just as soon as they can make enough money by themselves.

With the 5000 euros we have bought sowing machines and we have created a sort of lab, where women can weave the traditional dress and sell it to tourists.

After 10 years the project is a success, we have also been able to buy a computer and set up a website which can sell abroad, I am looking forward to the next ten years, who knows we might become the next Armani...
