Liam O’Brien of Cronulla, Sydney Australia has come up with a clever invention for not only transporting water over long distances, but to purify it as well. His invention is
incredibly cheap to make, for what it can do - a mere AU$15 will buy one of these beauties.
D-TEK was a university final project. Liam wanted to use his design skills to make a difference for the developing world (New Inventors, 2010). The D-Tek can be manufactured by and repaired locally, in the communities that need them most.
