Volunteering at an urban garden in a major mental hospital
There you go, my first step. As something of a transient around these parts. I've certainly been inspired to do more in the longer term for urban gardening in Buenos Aires. A lot more. That's a longer term thing.
But what, Adam, are you doing today to sustainably improve the food security of one person in your community?
I just volunteered at the vegetable gardens at the public mental hospital down the road. Jeepers! I'll let you know how that goes...I think learning about gardening, and doing my part to improve the state of a vegetable garden that's both therapeutic for the inpatients, as well as a possible (although unlikely, given the state of things around here) little micro-industry. We shall see...at least I'm learning about all the challenges involved in it, right?

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
