1.They had local help.

The mayor or whoever.

You need that - the right local contact - either governmental or at the level of some solid non profit homegrown group backing you to the hilt.

2. They were fighting a crisis in a developed country.

This really helps. The infrastructure to land those giants to bring in the food was already there.

3. They were helped by the idea of "farm punk" -

This was a stroke of pure genius on the part of the Evoke team.

I loved it.
