Water availability is at a stake, even in a (supposed) "developed" country as Italy.
Last February the right-wing government has approved a law which forces all local administrations to pass water supply management to private corporations, in despite of many bad experiences already going on in some parts of the country.
Fortunately it's not too late to stop this nonsense.
A public committee is collecting signature to enact a referendum to abolish this law, and take back the water management to citizens and to their elected representatives.
But there's more beyond this. The committee works to promote in the public opinion a new "water culture". Avoid water wasting, financing wells and water reservoirs in developing countries, and other effective actions. Stopping water privatization is only the first step.
