Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

In search of a better EVOKE session2

How to make EVOKE session2 better

Challenges and social problems to be tackled for session 2 of EVOKE

In my opinion, the following are the challenges and social problems which the EVOKE Network should tackle in session 2

*Regional disparities

*Terrorism

*Intellectual property issues.

*Social security.

*Strengthen backward and forward linkages of agriculture and industry.

*Legal provisions for downtrodden

*Real time early warning system

*Governance

*Human rights

Building up of new EVOKE communities

I believe to solve problems with the idea of “Think globally and act locally”. Hence, the network should be build up throughout the globe with provision to avoid digital divide and bring all the stakeholders on EVOKE platform. Focus should be more for underdeveloped economies.

Agents for Season 2:

I don’t believe in compartmentalization of ideas and everybody should be encouraged to participate. Given a chance, I would encourage more number of students of school level to participate because they do not have stereotype ideas and can bring fresh air in EVOKE.

Changes recommended for Season 2 of EVOKE

*Some sort of psychological test at the end which will determine the mental strength of *EVOKE agent to take up missions in actual field situation.

*EVOKATION should describe actual infield situation and should start with the game itself. At the end of the game, it should feature the outcome.

*Attachment of EVOKE agents with local governance, identification of at least one problem, interaction with different stakeholder and then try for implementing a change and finally reporting the result.

New tools recommended for session 2

I like to see the following tools/ widgets for session 2 of EVOKE

*Dashboard Widget Dock

*iKons Widget

*Widget Dock Mod (work with Yahoo Widgets! 3.0 and later).

*Myspace

*Also we should think how to have some widget which should have in built mechanism in the software to check formation of groups for awarding point.

Reasons for coming back for a second Season

As I have mentioned about many new missions which I held close to my heart, I’ll come back in session 2 on this great platform called EVOKE. Like session1, I will be available both as player as well as mentor.

Beyond EVOKE

Civil protection, or civil defense as it also known in some places, plays a vital role worldwide through disaster preparedness and by helping people in the event of a disaster. I want the EVOKE players of session2 of a particular region (with approachable distance) should form a civil defense.

It should be more action oriented. For example, adopting a village and then start working for food sovereignty. The report of entry level activities should feature with photos/videos and blog posts.

How much does it matter how old each of us is? I like your opinion.
You mention nine social problems.
It seems that humans have a limited capacity to count, when seeing a series of identical objects in a fraction of a second. When asked how many items have been seen, the answer is mostly correct, when the number of objects did not exceed seven. With larger numbers people start to guess.
Nine might be too much, but when combined as three times three, it becomes easier to handle.
Prioritizing the issues? May be some mathematicians at a university might help to show the cohesion and tell wihich issue might be the root.

Turil gives an answer to my question about age-differences:

Citation from a comment of Turil on Turil Cronburg: So, seriously, nearly all social problems have their roots in those five simple, and crucial, elements of food, water, air, warmth, and light.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
