Time For Knowledge
So I have been reading all of your act5 posts with great interest, my favorite was Giuseppe's Wood For Money. I liked the relationship that his family developed with a neighbor--both parties benefiting from the exchange. I though about how I could form a relationship like that and then one day I realized that I already had. I currently am interning with a local glass artists named Peter Houk. I spend 7-8 hours a week with him and receive no pay. My main task is to vectorize images that he draws. In exchange for this service he teaches me; About his techniques, his working habits/studio practices, and his art. I love every minute that I get to spend with him because of how much I am learning and I especially love that in turn I can help him.
Currently working on two projects with him, they should be done before the end of EVOKE so I'll post some photos when they are all finished.

You're working with Peter!? You know Michelle McGuire, I assume? I'm pretty sure I met Peter (or at least Michael Cima) once when she brought me to the MIT glasslab.

I don't know Michelle. Yeah I love working with peter he is a great guy. He loves hearing updates about EVOKE, he thinks that it is a really interesting project.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. public servants
The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
