Yesturday, I joined my housemates with their little gardening project out in the back of our house. Basically, they wh*** backyard of our humble london terraced home has been converted into a plan nursery. Josh (picture below), has put up a massive chicken wire cage to keep out rodents. I planted some tomato, rosemary and marygolds.
Lessons learnt.... Marigolds repel pests away, and their flowers are vibrant and edible! Secondly, rosemary is awesome. Its a slow, steady plant that is resilient to all but freezing conditions. Thirdly, water + bi-carb soda makes for effective removal of pests on plants... oh and oil and crushed garlic.
Forthly, I have learnt.... big differences are made up of lots of little ones.... nurturing at each step of the way enable small things to become giants.
Good times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
