A crash course in changing the world.
Story Telling
Throughout history this has been a basic in all civilizations. Everybody loves stories. It was the way history, skills, knowledge and learning was first passed down from generation to generation I can’t claim it as a new skill, but you might. And it fits very well with Public Speaking!
Stories talk about people and how they handle events. You can take a skill, a bit of knowledge, an idea or anything and turn it into a story. Here’s one I told my children, years ago. It also has a serious point to it. When I tell stories to a group of children, I make it about them, making them heroes. I try to pick children who need encouragement.
