Photography is my passion, It always has been but I truly didn't have many opportunities to get into it until I entered my twenties. There is something to be said for that moment, that you just know, man, it swells up inside you... that buzz to me, the creative juices.... like my heart is going to burst... it's that feeling that tells me I got something.
Whether it only has sentimental value to me or the picture can touch the world is irrelevant. It's the feeling
I am not the worlds best photographer, nor will I ever be, but when I am behind that camera, I can focus and see... truly see. I take all the b******* in life, that I deem important, that my peers deem important, that society deems important. and click like switch... gone.
I am so grateful that I learned to see the world, even if only for a moment. Before I had photography those moments just didn't exist.
Since I learned to shoot, I have seen such beauty that I actually put my camera down, I know by not taking a picture that I won't remember it perfectly, but I also know a camera won't do what I am seeing justice... why waste my time trying to capture it?
I have been uploading pictures at random, I will continue to do, from my very first photo album with a 1.2 mp camera I have, all the way to stuff I plan to shoot this weekend. I have no plans to put it in order or even edit it. I want everyone to see my craft, raw, exposed and perhaps experience my evolution as I learned to see our world.
