For World Water Day in 2020 I would design a challenge for people my community to try to go one day without using water from the tap. This means that people who accept the challenge are not allowed to use water from sinks, the shower or bathtub, or even from a water bottle or restaurant drink machine. Instead people would have to forage for water and undergo the necessary sanitation measures, which we will inform them of prior to their acceptance of the challenge, in order to be able to drink water for the day. I believe that it more people did this they would not take for granted the convenience of tap water and it would persuade them to be more responsible with the water they do consume.

Water really is a neat thing. It can be in the form of a liquid, solid or a gas. It is important that people know the value of water. So on my 2020 World Water Day I would try to raise the awareness of its importance by everyone trying to conserve at least half the amount of water they would typically use.

World Water Day 2020 would really be the beginning of World Water Week. I would challenge people to only use a certain amount of water for the entire week. This could encourage people to not get into habits that are water friendly. I would provide statistics on how much water certain everyday acts such as showering and dish washing, use. I would challenge people to reduce their water usage significantly.

I would make a national save our water day that would take place each year and have people not drink or use any water for the wh*** day and also have them give a water bottle to a homeless person.

I would show people all of the weird and crazy things we use every day that use water- its more important than we realize!

I would have a " where is water" week educating people about the importance of water and where it is. There would be water games to help make it fun.

Water for People would again inspire people to come together with the provided funds from the project. A spectacular carnival would be held where all families could enjoy themselves and never have to worry about the pressures outside in the real world.

I will teach adults and children how to use water purifiers and give them one to use at home that will last them a long time.

I believe a major difference could be made at the 2020 World Water Day if a way to simulate a day in the lives of those who have troubles with water insecurity was invented. If people could expirience the problems that others face (involving water), then they may try harder to help them. It could also help entrepreneurs to get inspired for ideas that could be used by those who have troubles with water insecurity. I would make sure that this is invented, and be open for use by the general public to raise awareness, and to make a difference.

I would have started a the Clean Water Movement, and I will have convinced the government to back clean water in poor countries. In May-August, me, my staff, and many of my followers will go to Afghanistan, Somalia, Rwanda, Guatemala, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Eritrea, Central African Republic, Niger, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Togo, Madagascar, Guinea, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Mali, Guinea-Bissau, Comoros, Haiti, and Uganda.

In 2020, I would host a young inventors convention and the challande would be for middle school students to create fun and creative ways to purify and recive water easily.

Comment by Eric Connor Lieberman on November 1, 2012 at 11:58pm

I will capture the world's attention in 2020 by inventing fun ways to purify water like a spinning toothbrush to clean water.

Comment by Lauren Keen on November 1, 2012 at 11:45pm

In 2020 i will be placing water purification where they are needed most. In order to get the worlds attention i will organize marches and maybe even flash mobs to get them to notice what is going on in the world.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
