difficulty with bacon. Imagine2

Outside the green streets and waterways flash by as the prt car moves through the northern California towns. I am lucky to be moving so well when there is so much net load today that insome places service has been interrupted in waves causing slowdowns and basically a form of traffic. I can tell the new is slow because I have been attempting to load a new program I just acquired on my trip to my dynamo fabber at home, hoping to have it loaded in in time for my afternoon meal.

It starts in your own backyard : Everything

After the Rodney King Riots at Humboldt State University I learned that from a friend. First you have to clean up your own backyard. To do that you dont need to go anywhere else and you dont need to join another people and you dont need to be anything but who you are.

It will still take courage. Because things will not turn out exactly like you envisioned, partly because its important to collaborate and bring more than one strong voice to projects like local food security.… Continue

Robust, longlasting and solving many problems at once *ToughStuff*

Its obvious in the Port au Prince refugee camps that there is an immediate gain from using one of these units. Light at night means more than education and socialization for many people it also means security. The ToughStuff solar lamps bring added security to displaced peoples daily lives. The effort is Haiti was aided by… Continue

Culture is a treasure: dont fight it

One of the great temptations for an alchemist and innovator is the inherent values and skill sets that come packaged along in the deal with that elusive elastic ever growing human aspect called "culture"

The way we make our hearth, the clarity of our water source, the security of our planted foods are all things which affect this culture however they do not define it. The growing evidence and richness of the leapback effect, the result of leapfrogging of communities through modern… Continue

Indeed I am! I saw the TED Talks presentation about this place and the idea of gaming for a better world and thought of you immediately. And then I saw your name on the leader's board.

I'm so happy I found this place, because it's really unique and inspiring, and seems like a good place to spend my resources on at the moment.

Hi Cat - glad to meet you! I did a little looking and found these two organizations. It appears that The Seed Savers Organization had a program in place for global seed sharing:

And the World Seed Alliance also has global programs too, but they seem to be out of seed?!?

I'm think about how we can work to bring together the people who are already equipped: the suppliers, the sowers and the visionary minds.

Awesome! I assume then you've read my post about the Maker's guild? What do you think of that? I'm trying to see if there is enough interest in it to actually start something. Spread the word if you know anyone who might be interested!
