New Currency in Ojai!

A new currency by the name of "Nordoffs" has been created in Ojai, California! The currency only works in the area, and therefore can only be used in the area, keeping the wealth in, and the corporations out! The reason for this is Ojai is too expensive for many of it's citizens. At the same time, though, it get's a lot of tourists. One Nordoff is the equivalent of $1.50 dollars. Therefore, when tourists trade in at the bank, it does not seem like much of a financial gain for Ojai, but all… Continue

MOM BUCKS!!!

My mother has a system called Mom-bucks. The process goes as follows:

When I do a chore/favor/ect.- I get paid in mom bucks.

I can buy privelages (staying out later, hang out sessions)- by paying my mother the mom-bucks.

Doing this keeps the "economy" (a.k.a. interaction) between us constant.…

Helping Water Conservation in My Dormitory

I go to the Oak Grove School in Ojai, California. I stay at the one dormitory, or "house," that the school has. Before I got to Besant House, although Oak Grove is green, the students were pretty wasteful about their resources. I worked with the dormparents to create the following rules:

1.) You can only do your laundry if you have a full load, if not and you need it done, buddy up with a friend's load.

2.) Make sure all faucets are fully off.

3.) Do not take showers longer than… Continue

Teach me WHAT IS MONEY?! And who's AT THE BANK?!

A profligate person. You think they've been taught how to manage their bucks? Think they've been guided!?? High schools need to make a required Life class, where students like myself learn how to manage money, write checks, have a bank account, pay taxes, and so on! Because I have no idea!! And I am almost 18!! Once one has a bank account, bank's should have employees called "Guides," people who will work with each individual to plan their spending and make sure they obide the future laws of,… Continue

I AM EATING THE RAINBOW!!

Welcome to 2020, earthlings!! Due to the educational resources available in my community, including the required cla**** at school, I have learned how to grow my own garden, so abundant and varied in nutrients that I am able to live off of it!!! Of course this can be labor intensive, so my wh*** family is in on it, and my neighbor and I have an agreement to share foods if something fails, which is unlikely since the vegetables we have nowadays are specially formulated hybrids meant to stay… Continue

BAN CHAINS!!!

Although the United States is known for obesity and a relatively low amount of malnourished peoples, LOW still means a million people are malnourished. Ojai, the town in California where I live and go to school, is known for it's lack of chain resturaunts and it's abundance of organic food. Ojai helps to fight hunger by makig it easy for every citizen to have their own garden or participate in community gardens.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
