Imagine 1 re-done

For me this is a very difficult task to imagin as my dreams and assperations are constantly changing.

Although there are some common goals to all my missions and vissions for the future which i wish to achieve. I see myself as owning a hotel in Europe which has a lovely famly resturant. This hotle will be self suffiecent and run off solar power. I will do everything I can to reduce my carbon foot print.

The new manifesto would have the same vison nd mission as the last one it would just be done on a more of a community basis and a more of a hands on type project than a virtual one.

People are always keen to get involved and to help peole.this new season would do that and would mean that there would actually be a chnage taking place in the community.

The programme would be amde to help people and to boost their community engament.

ACT 10.The new season

The new seaon of Evoke would be a different one where instaed oh having to do things on such a big scale you would need to concirntrate more in your communiy and what you would be able to do there to help solve the problem. There are many differentproblems that go on in even first world communities. These issues need to to be delt with in order for society to look atthe broader pricture. Therefore by lookingat issues such as poverty, domestic abuse and rape you will be able to uplif your…

Learn 10. what i would add to the course

I found this course to be very interesting nd innovative. I enjoyed the new way in which to interact with people and to keep them interested. The wh*** idea of there being a story behind what you are doing is a very good way in which to motivate peole and to encourgae them to work harder.

One thing I would change is the way in which it was set out. I would make it a much easier and sipmle for people to use, as I only knew what was going on as i have used computers before but…

Imagine 9 help group

The pandemic in 2011 is one of the worst that has hit, therefore we need professionals to help out with taking care of people and teaching them how to prvent the spread. The way in which I have decieded to tackel this task is to look at other organisations who do something similar. There is an organisation called doctos without boarders, this group of doctors works all over Africa helping poor communities with different types of medical needs. This organisation can be used to help people…

Learn 9 managing panic and pandemic

Managing Panic in a Pandemic

Journalists play a key role helping government manage fear in the general population during a disaster, says epidemiologist Dori Reissman, a commander with the United States Public Health Service. In this section, Reissman explains how the government uses insights from behavioral and social science research to maintain public trust and get messages across in a crisis; how an expert panel came up with the concept of “psychological first aid”; and why she… Continue

Imagine 8 urgent message

I would sit write something in a book, a book lasts for a long time and maybe evern forever, but if you use a type of technology it will be out of dat in such a short space of time that there is no point in tring to tel your message.

My message would be to the people of South Africa telling them that we fought so hard and for so long to have a peacful society of balck and white peole living together that there is not point to fight over racial issues in the future. I has all…

Maasai Weather Forecasting in Tanzania

MAASAI WEATHER FORECASTING IN TANZANIA

Maasai alternate the use of their natural grassland according to seasons. This requires a timing decision on when and where to move next. They predict droughts as well as weather related diseases by watching the movements of celestial bodies in combination with observing the date of emergence of certain plant species (e.g.. Ole…

ACT 7

With regards to South Africa there has been an increase in racial tension, this is due to a murder of a political figure who used to be head of the AWV. This murder has increased tension between whicte farmers and black farm workers. This is interesting to act on as it is the perfect forum to create a mrch or somthing of the sort to bring others together. By increasing the awearness of the peope to the fact that race is just a false factor with people and that we are all he same is very… Continue

CRISIS CONTROL

There is a natrual disaster that is currently happening at the moment which has a huge impact on the world. That is the valcon that has errupted in Iceland and has created a huge cloud of ash which has forced the all air traffic across Europe to become grounded. This is a huge problem with regards to business and transport across Europ. If there was some type of system that warned people of this before and told them that there was going to be such an ash could this would be bennificial. A… Continue

Imagine 6

I imagine that in 2020 that women will be able to take part in everything equally to the same extent as men. Women in sport have been discriminated against for years, due to this i imagine that women will be able to participate equally at the same level and be able to get the same publicity that men do. Women are now able to participate in sports such as rugby but they are not encourgaed to do so and there is such a stigma attached to this.

Empowering women

With regards to this mission i felt it was very necessary. Women in South Africa although we have legally equal rights, although socially they do not have equal rights. The men is South African culture are very hard on their women and they create an environment which they struggle to thrive in.

Due to this I felt that it was necessary to empower a girl that I new.

empowering women

I felt that the women watch that empowers women through the use of sport in Afghanistan is the women watch program which i can connect to the most. I feel that sport is a really good way in which women are able to express themselves in a productive way and provides them with a outlet with which they can release anger or just be yourself. By allowing women to do something that men are also able to do gives them a sense of equality.

women all over the world especially in Muslim… Continue

IMAGINE 5

This mission is difficult. The Bank is called V Bank. This stands for virtual bank. The mission of this bank is help people provided an income for themselves with out the boudaries that the formal economy creates. By doing this people are able to slowly break themssleves out of the spiral of poverty.

The way in which this works is that peope can join the banck which works on line, due to the fact that these people probably do not have access to internet, internet points will…

ACT 5

This is a very good act misssion as Africa is know for its traditional bartering system. I tried this out in a very simple small sacle way. When returing to Rhdes Univeristy I needed to buy food for the term, basic essentails such as cereal and bread. Unfortuantly I did not make a list as I was in a rush, and as a reslut ended up buying many items which i did not need and forgetting many items which i needed. Due to this I needed to find a way in which to get the food I needed. Luckily my digs… Continue

There are many ways in which the world today have ben able o get around the boundaries which paper money creates. The economy is a superficial environment created to control societies and to try to stablise them.Although all these restrictions are in place there have, especially in poo countries with corrupt governments, been peole or organisation who have found ways around this. The IDY money shows that with orgainsation such in China who ctreated the QQ currency, this is a virtial currency…

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
