I believe that the Google Vision of Doing NO EVIL --- as augmented by Sarah O'Connors story

I stop with this note... --- I will…

Thanks for providing a new format to explore for me in 'Combat Mouse'... I'm writing a children's book for my kids and there friends and hope to have it finished by year end.
The quick summary concept is that we are all going through so much change in life - that we need to realize life requires quick reactions and that 'who moved my cheese' is a permanent state. That said, we all can learn from each other, help others, and try and change the world to make it better for…

I have learned a great deal via UrgentEvoke and I have Sarah O'Connor - and Mike Robbins as new friends. I have improved interaction with David Rosenman and Jerry Malagrino. That said - there are 'only 20,000' people in this tool and there are millions in other social spaces. Is UrgentEvoke willing to be a 'strong-thin-tie' organization - or does it hope to compete with the million ma****?
Hope that is actually a discussion item that Jane McGonigal and any other Evokers at…

I am currently am the chair of our regional foodbank and I have a deep interest in schools. Having run for school board before, I am aware that the school district should act as a community connector to people. Similarly the food bank connects food shelves with resources that can be shared. These linkages - when combined with healthcare organizations - could act quickly in a crisis. One final point - as a project manager at Mayo Clinic - but not a doctor - there are many proactive ways to help…

I've been online since 1997. My dark site information and all other elements link from here:
is a photo of the top page... details on action plans with Eric Feige and Dave Sutter, West Point classmates, are not public information.

I have had the honor of working with Dr. Greg Poland at Mayo Clinic. In the past few months I have been able to observe him in action in calming the fears of people in our organization and beyond. In large measure, he walked our organization through a mental rehearsal of a broad crisis. Then as there was a minor outbreak his communication message remained clear and unchanged. As such, he was able to get the message: "We'll get through this together" to the ma**** and we all "calmed down".…

While we often don't like to talk about it - because its not PC or nice, Americans - and nearly all human tribes - have gone to war to protect ideas, ideals, and items. In my life I served in the US Army in the 24th Infantry Division. For many years it was an active army unit that saw battle in World War 2, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm. I have become the reluctant webmaster for the group and am recording the stories of those who served. I am hopeful that the positive humanitarian values of…

While this project was about environment in Canada, the applicability is universal. In pairing groups that are not often linked, we can create awesome power. We should try this approach locally.…

Less than 150 years ago, Rochester was expanded due to a disaster from a tornado. In the last 20 years there have been floods and dry spells that could cause famine or homelessness on a broad scale.
Using social media, we would be able to track where facilities are available, what routes are accessible, and communicate needs for help that can be answered via distance (e.g. telemedicine). Even communication of opening status of a hospital and/or food distribution point can…

I am fortunate to have connections with the disaster plans at Channel One Foodbank and Mayo Clinic. It is good to know that those agencies had plans before I arrived and I help make them better. In particular, I helped the Mayo plan get 'on-line' to key internal employees. I have the opportunity to go deeper with the food bank and hope to help determine what tools we'll use.

As a divorced dad, I don't really have money to give. That said, I've committed and donated several thousand dollars to nonprofit organizations and stay true to those directions. As such, I decided that I could only do the social networking part of this mission - and that I would accomplish it that way.
Jerry Malagrino, a work partner and friend who is also going through the Urgent Evoke process listened to my riff about my situation. After hearing the story he laughed and…

It is not difficult for me to envision this new reality. My sisters have (by 2020) been physicians for more than 25 years and have trained a new generation of Mayo Clinic physicians that don't see gender as a differentiator in medicine. In the world of the future, talent and caring will be the key to success as a physician or partner in healthcare. This will change the famous Mayo quote of "my brother and I" to "my brothers, sisters, and I"
Cheers

While the Taliban still has a grip on much of society, this article highlights the need to bring social equality for women along with peace.
http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry/afghanistan_52952.html As a West Point graduate, I am impressed with the progress in establishing an Afghan Military Academy - modeled after West Point. But - as the article points out - equal social access - including this school will be essential…

I am happy to report the successful anniversary of the "Will Work For Food" mobile vehicle network. Food selves, transportation organizations and governments have combined to have 'food anywhere' trading opportunities for those in need. In return, the vehicles transport the individual to a place that can use the support. This new network has made the need to pay for the food to disappear. As such, every government quickly dispatches food mobiles to places and people in need once notified.…

Already we see evidence that directly trading with others in an area is economical for all concerned. As the medium of exchange, money is no longer stable of value, but helping actually is. As networks develop locally and online, groups will form around the 'let us help each other' perspective. Habitat for Humanity is propelled in part by this principle. In Rochester MN Timetrader is established toward this end:…

For 2020 we will be photographing lines at 9 am local - worldwide... We will upload these lines by 10 am local and meet with the heads of state for 50 countries to express our concern and show the growing line. From the Pacific all the way to western Alaska, we'll see the line grow and leaders sign up to help make the change.
