Dihydrogen Monoxide - The Truth

The Truth about DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO)

is perhaps the single most prevalent of all chemicals

that can be dangerous to human life. Despite this truth,

most people are

not unduly concerned about the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Governments, civic leaders, corporations, military organizations, and

citizens… Continue

Bread on hook

Here in Turkey we have sth.: When you go to the bakery, you can buy some extra breads with your coins and leave it on hook. You anonymously leave it there. After that, people who needs them can take the amount they need to feed themselves.

As far as i know this has started in Italy with coffee. But in Turkey it switched to bread and spreading widely through the country with the sense of solidarity.

Windvertising

To make or buy a wind turbine is a bit costy. We expect that it reduces our electric bill. We assume that our savings will cover the expence in years. There is a way to reduce this period. It's called windvertising. Basicly you get advertisements on your turbine blades.

regenerative breaks

Here is a link that describes how we can convert the kinetic energy of the vehicle into electricity.

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-regenerative-braking.htm

There is also the concept KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) mostly used on hybrids cars. Also you've probaly heard that from Formula 1. The idea for Rio is NOT converting all the vehicles to hybrid. The idea is using the brake system and batteries to… Continue

Celebration

I've always pictured heaven as a summertime near seaside where i can see the beach from the grassy hill that i laid a table under the shadow of a tree. Around this table i dream that my family and friends have taken seat. We are eating and chatting. This is how i picture the heaven.

Ten years later, whatever i am celebrating, i will be trying to make it alike this dream as much as possible.

Public busses for electricity

Electric cars, hybrid cars use a different way to brake. It's not just clutches that stops the wheels. They suck the energy from the cars movement to fill batteries.

Imagine that a car, which is 1000 kgs weight approximately, is moving with 54 km/h (15 m/s). The power required to stop this car in two seconds is 7,5 kW. Let's say that we can store that by 20% efficiency. In the first red light, we get 1,5 kW that can light up 10 electirc efficien light bulbs for 6 hours.

Homemade power websites

Most of you guys probably noticed that website already. And there are probably more of these web sites. This one shares us the INFORMATION that you will need to build your own power generator.

In places that suffer energy shortage, products of the fancy brands won't be a solution since they are expensive. And it's way better to teach them how to solve their problems on their own, with their own abilities and opportunities. IMHO, this and this kind of other websites are the key agents… Continue

Joshua Klein and Crow Vending Machine

Joshua Klein has the most shocking idea i heard recently. I'm sure thaat you've been annoyed by the presence of crows around. He suggests a new kind of relation between us. This relation is based on mutual benefits.

Crows are quite smart animals that can learn and also teach. Crow can -just not use a tool- MAKE a tool. And they can teach eachother what they learn. When one finds a trick, you can see that the rest of the pack does the same within weeks.

Well let him tell his… Continue

Listening to the right people

Analytical thinking says; first step is to define the problem. Defining the problem will lead us to see the elements causing it. Thus the way for a solution. Who can define the problem best? Probably who suffers from it.

People can tell their problems in the best way. They are able to see many points of views on the topic. And they are the best filter for any idea. Because they know what they want whoever else says they know what they want.

Talk to them. Let them define the… Continue

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
