Can - Wave power is indeed a viable provider of limited energy. Many projects are underway worldwide. Here in the UK there is a bit of a push to develop tidal power projects on some of our riverways.
The problem with wave power is that although waves are always about they are unpredictable and vary in strength (like wind). The technology to capture and convert wave energy is also expensive as is the means to transport that energy to some form of national grid. Most "wave farms" work best many miles offshore.
Great bit of research finding that company and also I think you are the first person I've seen on EVOKE talking about it. Keep up the good work!

The sea never rests! I've laways liked the idea of using the sea as a power source. I think 70% of the surface area on our planet is covered in water - so much energy could be generated!

@ben thanks. you are right. that one is expensive. it's really making you consider "does it worth it". on the other hand well, it can be improved. "restless seas" are full of energy. to make them easily and cheaply usable for mankind this is one of the starting points. That's why i liked it and shared it.
