I shall wear a costume that translates all my kinetic energy into something for the costume. Perhaps I'll be a dragon whose tail wags as I walk around powered by little generator materials in my shoes. Maybe I will encourage my guests to play physical games like soccer to generate enough kinetic energy to supply my parties lights and stereos.

Some Princeton big shot have come up with a pretty cool material. Its "Piezoelectric Ribbons Printed Onto Rubber" that generate electricity when flexed. This stuff is tiny enough to put in you shoes, walking around and flexing the material could be harnessed to power your electric mobile devices. Maybe we could embed them in roads and sidewalks, every step humanity takes could generate power. pretty nifty.

So I really like the idea of integrating the natural world into the way we design homes, energy, everything. We should be using deserts and windy mountaintops and ocean waves to our and the environments advantage. Cooperation, as it were. I found a cool company called Voltree Power. Basically, there is a small electrical differential between tree roots and the soil, something about the pH difference. So far they can only produce 200 millivolts, however even that small amount is enough to power…

Where will I be in 10 years? Well I really have no idea. It depends on what passion I find to whisk me away on adventure. I might be living in some other country, helping to shape a new sort of society on new rules and values. Maybe I'm in a protest march for human rights somewhere. Maybe I'm in a cozy house, writing satirical novels and social commentary. Perhaps I'll be part of a design team for some new social apparatus to change how we live. I hope I don't ever stop looking for ways to…

Alright, in the name of finding some role models and inspiration I have created a twitter account! OhObliviousOne is only following 9 people now, among which are Jane McGonigal and the one red paperclip guy. I also threw in Jim Carey and some other interesting characters for some inspiration of a more eclectic yet no less useful kind. I want to find all kinds of people that inspire me and follow them all. There really is something to going out and finding your own role models.

I want to change the world. I watch TED to get inspiration juices flowing. I try to see how all the threads of my different educations cross and overlap. Right now I'm focused on the first step,
understanding. I understand that my environment is broken, I understand most of us are unhappy because of this and would do something given the chance. I understand I am a highly privileged citizen of the world....I have more resources than most, I should…
