I would like to introduce you all to Axe Cop:
http://www.axecop.com/Axe Cop is a comic, written and illustrated by brothers. The writer just turned six years old, and his twenty-nine year old brother does the illustrations.
In Learn 1 a lot of people talked about the importance of maintaining an almost child-like openness to creativity. And I think that for those of us that do not have to deal with kids on a daily basis it is easy to forget exactly what that can mean - we tend to make it more whimsical and less outright bizarre.
Axe Cop is creative - it is also violent and politically incorrect. There are good guys and bad guys and an avocado soldier with a unicorn horn (he transforms a lot though).
It reminded me of a little girl I know whose Halloween costume this year was: a mouse in a spaceship with an alligator.
Anyway, hopefully some you will find the comics funny, and others the glimpse into a creative six year old mind engaging. If you want somewhere to start I suggest this:
