Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

DISCUSSION

The photo is sent; a story as appetizer;
The object in the photo belonging with this objective is a small container.
Important: The object on the photo is largely to be considered as "conceptual".
The photo shows vaguely a tetra-eder made from paper in order to get a first impression of the idea myself.
A tetra-eder is a spatial object. It has four sides made of four identical tri-angles.
The photo of the object is also tagged ACT8.
The object on the photo has edges with a length of 5,5 cm.

MORE DISCUSSION
( ... i share with you some lines of thought ... the creative process is revealed here ... )
i intend to make a larger sized object with the same basic characteristics, because it showed itself to be too small to contain a single memory stick.
... second level ... (?)
That next ´identical´ object (still to be made) has to be able to contain at least one memory-stick.
... third level ... (of thought) What should it contain?
It should contain micro-memory-data-chips that contain at least all the content, blogs, that have been created in 2010 for urgent evoke season one!!!.

The choice for the material of the object: ... is yet to stay undefined ...
What are the most likely requirements: .... ? just some: ...

.... remember ... i am sharing / showing the process, That is what this is ...

The object is gradually developing in my mind.
I repeat a previous conclusion:
It should definitely be larger.
I intend to double the internal shape.

... Let the internal edge then be 11 cm.

NOW THE IDEA SPLITS IN TWO POSSIBLE DIRECTIONS: "watertight in all cases!!!"
A. The object (tetra-eder) should be transpärant and translucent. Of course unlike the paper one, the ´walls´ all will have thickness (yet undetermined) It has to be tested on strength, but how? and how much force? (again undefined) The contents should be tightly packed!!
B. The alternative object has to have an inside that is completely lightless, dark; in this case the four outer surfaces have one colour each: the arrangement of the colours has yet to get a philosophical and mathematical consideration.
One possibility is for instance: clockwise: DARK GREEN, DARK YELLOW, DARK RED, WITH A BOTTOM OF DARK BLUE. A permutations of reordering have to be reckoned with still, and philosophically scrutinized for its possitive meanings; I have to consider this in great detail in the near future. I repeat all permutations have to be considered, and the best arrangement will be chosen.

Why do I like this shape, this object?
What I mostly like about this watertight object is: ...

... a triangle cannot be deformed easily ...

... and this means, that a tetra-eder has a form-strength of its own ...

... it reduces the need to use materials ... that is what makes this object so attractive ...

A STORY
I would like the finsihed object to be thrown from a ship into the Atlantic Ocean north of the equator above the mid-atlantic ridge; it is made to stay afloat for many years, if not several thousand years with the latest nanotechnologies.

I would like the object to be found again in the year 3010.
Although it might never be retraced again.

More about the object
The outer edges (for instance) might be made of the same alloy of that famous pillar in India.
It has to withstand the corrosive influence of the salt in the sea.
When it hits a rocky coastal shore-line the object in its totallity has to withstand the tear and wear of it being smashed against these rocks; with violent waves of several stories high.
And here this story ends.

Nice one, I like the idea of using the current technology to store the Evoke season too!

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
