The world of today, has seen the rise of an intricate and highly complex system of value and money. What happened to trading and bartering? What happened to those simple transactions where there was no debt, no money, and most of all, no problems! Money is an incurable disease. Since the 1900's country's like the USA have been generating astronomical amounts of debt! It's no longer millions, or billions, yet trillions. No country in Europe can even manage to "break even". No matter how strong economies are, debt can't stop piling up.
The problem arose when money itself, no longer existed as a note or coin, but yet as a number you could see online. It's this advance in society that has led to economic crisis'. The problem is though, when is a country deemed as bankrupt? When does the debt become so large that it can no longer function? Many country's that are in this debt though, function perfectly well (like the USA).
There can only be one solution and that is pretty much any solution that will move away from our current system. The first step would be to introduce and international currency. From there, we can retrace our steps to where it all started going wrong. An international currency would return more order and simplicity.
I think that one of the only long-term (and when I say long I mean it!) solutions is to pretty much demolish our money systems. It sounds crazy, but I can't see how the world economies can continue to function in an effective manner!
