Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Title: EVOKE Season 2

Panel A: womans hand on a phone
text bubble: hello is this the EVOKE team, if you can hear me i need your help. I'm president Cheryl Carter of the UN and we have a huge crisis on our hands.

Panel B: an old frail hand picking up the receiver to call back.
speech bubble: hello missus president, the EVOKE team hasn't been called in a while and i dont know whether we can do anything, sorry

Panel C: Is this Alchemy, if so please help us The Anti-C Land is in a state!

Large panel with image of city in turmoil, Pictures of thin, hungry and dirty children. Bad living conditions and generally bad conditions.

Panel D: outline of man earlier in a modern flat.
Speech bubble: look we warned you that if natural resources were being abused then the wealth of oil will shift and now look what happened. China listened, India and even the oil-rich Arabian countries listened and they are doing fine today. The fact that the governments of the world split after we launched operation CLEAN was their decision.

Large Panel with of the Earth, there is a line in the middle and the land on either side is shaded two different colors. Underneath it says: In 2015 EVOKE launched operation CLEAN which was a huge success however the governments that didn't want to change weren't happy about this. a huge argument broke out and the result was the Earth being divided into two sections: The C-Land which was made up of the people who accepted operation C and the Anti-C Land which was made of those who didn't.

Another Large Panel: a few pictures of a good society and a polluted city
text: The Anti-C land had people who continued their bad ways and polluted. They wanted money and would do anything to get it. The Land slowly turned bad and they were running out of resources quickly. Then one-day a pandemic broke out all over the Earth and because the Anti-C Land didn't adhere to Operation CLEAN, the quality of life deteriorated in the Anti-C Land as the pandemic caused dehydration. The C Land had good systems in place thanks to Operation CLEAN but the Anti-C Land didn't. Water depleted in the Anti-C Land and its people grew envious of the smaller but cleaner community of the C Land. This created tension as the Anti-C Land had a lot of wealth but depleting resources and the C Land had a smaller Land and community but they were clean and retained their resources.

Final Panel: Another panel where we see the old and frail alchemy as the man in the flat. he says "speak to this man, he will help" and hands the phone to a younger man who we cannot see properly.
Text bubble: Hello mam, the man you spoke to earlier was indeed Alchemy but now I will help you.
Text bubble from woman on other side of the line: Thank you. we need to start now. You have 10 weeks.
Text bubble from man again: Okay missus president, I'll arrange a new EVOKE team and we promise to heal the Earth, again. My name Alchemy the Second and yes i am Alchemy's son...

Closing text: EVOKE is Back! and we need your help to Save the Earth and Stop a War in the Process!

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
