I would like it if the evoke network avoided the use of comics as a medium of introduction to each set of tasks. The information provided for each mission is enough to set users on the correct path, whilst the opening comic serves only to consume time, despite being an attempt to make the site fun and exciting. Linked to this, the pretext that Evoke is a game, instead of a purely educational and intellectual forum for ideas, takes away from the seriousness of the issues. By all means have awards for good pieces, but don't make it a 'game' when the issues at hand are clearly ones to be tackled by people whose intentions are serious. Evoke should be more about being effective, rather than about being 'fun'.
As for content, the crises of the world were covered well and I have no substantial suggestions for more issues. The Imagine missions need to be less personal. individuals must not be thinking about themselves on this network, because self centered behaviour is one reason the world is in the turmoil that it is. Rather, the imagine missions should be along the lines of: 'what issues of this nature will occur in 10 years, and how do you think such issues will be resolved in that same time period'. The learn and act missions should mostly be kept as they are, in particular the learn missions. The Act missions should always be constructive things that help communities, because making a random artifact that is supposed to communicate an idea is of no use to anyone. The missions that were involved in joining societies to help people, or physically designing something that could plausibly help someone... those were good and constructive and should be repeated.
That is my view on the pros and cons of the evoke network thus far...
