Girls Initiative groups
I have a friend is runs a Healthy girls initiative group in my area. This program is geared toward giving girls the ability to empower themselves by learning more about themselves and developing their self-esteem. There are many problems that still linger in our society that make it difficult for girls to succeed in achieving their dreams. Teaching them and support them while they are young is important. Most of us are heavily influenced by our elders and our peers while we were young. We should trying and build up our youth and instill in them a strong sense of who they are and that they can take control of their lives. In other countries around the world there is an epidemic problem in the mindset of many cultures that a women's place in the world is not equal to a man's. Equal rights movements are spreading and more opportunities for women are growing but it is important to get in to the heads of younger generations to strengthen their spirits to be ready to shine when their time comes.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
