Global Giving Beauty Pageant!
In 2020 internet users will give so much more to these women's charities. Why? Because charity portals like Global Giving will partner with Donald Trump to make giving money to women a prime-time entertainment spectacular!
Those third world girls may not have much power or material wealth, but one empowering asset they do have is what God gave them - their wonderful natural beauty! By 2020 us Western women will have reached out to our sisters in the South and taught them this valuable lesson. Much like this:
When you think about it, media convergence like this makes so much sense. Beauty pageants are one of the only popular forms of entertainment where women take centre stage (yeah I'm talking about girl power!). And everyone knows that if we make giving to charity more entertaining (like charity balls, etc) then more people will donate.
And giving can be hard. With dozens of charity organisations on the Global Giving website to donate to in 2010 it's just so hard to choose who deserves our charity dollar the most. So just imagine how much better it will be when we get to see Miss Detect and Treat Cervical Cancer in Guatamala duke it out against Miss Livelihood for 500 Disabled Mothers in India!! (And you just know that when they say they want world peace they're being totally honest lol)
