Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

“How are you evoking today?” That is the question I had so many times in my head while playing this game. And sometimes it was really hard to find an answer. There was a lot of positive experience I got while playing evoke, for example the feeling to do to something important for our earth. It was the believing to do the right thing and it was very good to know, and also a far-reaching incident for me, that there are so many people who are obviously doing and feeling the same thing. They all wanted to do something to help saving our planet, making things better and helping people in painful situations to solve their problems. But there also was a lot of bad experience. The most disturbing thing was the time you had to spent by just clicking through so many information with no idea why you have to do so or maybe just with the result that you summarize a text that 500 people had already summarized. It was also very hard to get to know how to use the system right. There were so many things, for example that you could not get to blog posts of another player by just clicking on the runes on his or her profile, what should be intuitively after my opinion. It also would have been more motivating, if there had been the possibility to always have the overview over a ranking list with an exactly number where you are standing compared to other players. What also could have led to a greater motivation would have been the chance to get new abilities or strength and with that new things you are able to do on evoke through the rating of others and eventually even new powers you are able to collect. Besides, there could have been even more motivation and also more information brokerage, if you could have seen who was on your profile and also if it had been mandatory to read the blog posts of other players. As I mentioned before I think you had generously to hard and time-consuming missions to solve. It would have been much better to have fixed answers and maybe much more missions but in exchange mainly short and varied types of answers and not always the task to write a blog post. I also could imagine having more rules and little puzzles, because this is what a real game should be like, and eventually rather some side quests than just big missions. So there are a lot of negative gaming mechanisms, but also positive ones. The gaming mechanism I really liked most was the gaining of colorful achievements. It was very cool to have a big goal to reach besides of getting all the power votes and it was really motivating and interesting how to get them. As a wh*** I can say I liked the idea of evoke: Getting people to play a game that helps solving the social problems on earth, but it really is developable.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
