A crash course in changing the world.
By 2020 the world is quite different, economic collapse and environmental dysfunction in the past has forced us to make changes. Using
smart technology combined with old knowledge from less developed countries, we
have returned to lifestyles and development more in tune with nature. Vertical
green wall structures have replaced a lot of pesticide polluted farm fields and
increased production is virtually eliminating food shortages. Major focus has
been on improving the conditions of all water and soil.
People are encouraged to “work” based on your talent and willingness and basically log your hours in return for goods and services. So
for half the day I worked on some photography then went to help paint at a new
school being built in my area. I think I’ll go work with animals tomorrow and
maybe learn to build a cabinet. I’m at the school when I get call about the Tokyo
food crisis. Seems they’re having a problem with a group of the older
structures, I’m also on the research and development team for some of the new
technology so looks like I’m needed there.
