A crash course in changing the world.
IMAGINE9: Who would I mobilise?
Basically the first thing you need to do in a pandemic is get reliable medical information out. So this means one of two things in my mind. It either means that the media has to give out the facts in an easy to understand and factual way (this means instead of sensationalising the situation and making it worse).
So the first thing I would do is call all the major T.V networks and newspaper companies, and see if they would co-operate. Failing that (although preferably concurrently) the government has to be relied on to give information out. This would most likely at the moment be in the form at pamphlets.
So that would reach most people. However, now we have to utilise current technology. In the case of Twitter I believe it is useless here, except for rumor-mongering. However Facebook holds more interesting possibilities. A group people could join to see the information would be ideal I think. I would also contact Google and see if they could post a link to the group on the front page of Facebook. Speaking of Google, it is probably the most used site in the world. If they could post a link to info on their front page it would be amazing.
