Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I made a comment earlier today, and it got me thinking. When asked if a particular person was my hero... my inspiration: I have to say no.

And this is why:

Inspiration, creativity, insight, all the POWERS listed here... are innate in everyone. They can be harnessed, grown, used and create so much. I see inspiration in my day to day discussions, I've met people who have survived on so little in a developed nation, lived through Katrina and seen my friends and family pick up the pieces.

Sometimes I see my cat do something so inventive, with just what is around- it inspires me. It makes me think, makes me want to do better, to help others. Little things, what we already have, who we get to meet and know, the stories of the people I am around everyday, and the stories of the people on this network.

There is brilliance in every human being. I've been paying so much attention to this network, that I need to sort of focus on the outside too.

I met a woman yesterday who is overcoming cancer- who is fighting with no insurance, no income, working her way through charity care and doing the best she can. She has hope. She uses others for support. She is fighting in a situation others would call hopeless... a powerful woman indeed. She will not take no for an answer, will not take negative prognosis. She is moving forward with chemo and being friendly, cheerful and inspiring everyday.

She is just one of many inspiring people in my life.

Congratulations! I believe you have fought the battle with choice and won! What you write is very true, and all we have to do is be open to that truth on a daily basis. Never foget, though, there are many who do need a special kind of hero. Although tht hero/heroine may live next door, or down the street...too many just don't have their viewpoints set for that distance :) +1 Spark

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
