Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Is it Africa, Is it Asia, No it's South Dakota!

Dr. Frankenstein did not know what he created when his monster came to life. I think the creators of this game might not know what type of monsters they will create or do they. Dune is one of my favorite movies. The scene that sticks out the most to me is when Paul takes the water of life. Upon waking he yells the sleeper has awaken. In this very moment I feel like I have awaken. I was told by a very wise lady from Africa that I was here to help people. When she said this, I did not know who and how I would help these people. Then I heard about this game where the goal was to help people. I heard about it on two different occasions from two different sources. As result of the first mission, I know how I am to help people. The sleeper has awaken.

Today I was listening to my local Pacifica radio station 89.3 WPFW. There is a show that comes on Fridays called The Night Wolf Show. The host of the show is Jay Winter Night Wolf and the show is centered around Native Americans and Native American issues. Today I heard a commercial from Jay looking for people to donate money to help people on a reservation in South Dakota. During the commercial Jay said the following 1. Temperatures can get to be -50 with the wind chill factor 2. There is not electricity because the wind had snapped over 6,000 electric poles 3. There was not propane to heat the homes in the winter 4. The water on the reservation was contaminated. I could not believe what I was hearing. When you think of conditions like these you don't think that it could happen in the good ole U.S. of A. This sounds like it could be in a third world country. But instead it's right in out own backyards.

My reason for posting this is two fold. First I wanted to let people know what is going on here in our home. Second as we are playing the game to help someone in a different part of the world, let take a little of that creativity to help some people who are very close to home. So as you develop your plans to have successful missions also think about how those plans could be used to help our Native American brothers and sisters.

Am I my brothers keep? Yes I am.

Local Insight is a part of it. Yes, this game is spinned as Africa-focused, but clearly, people should think both global and local at the same time.

For instance, I also went and talked with some of those who are on the edges of existence in my own city.

I am pretty sure someone is trying to help the Native Americans. Who are they? Have you made the link with them? Do you know what Their challenges are? Maybe visibility - that not enough people know what they do. What their struggles are.

Now you have pointed out a local issue. So I give you this challenge: Go and seek out someone who IS already working for the Native Americans, talk with them (phone, email, personal conversation) and tell them what you just told us. Ask Them what they think should be our next step.

Then come here and share that with us :)

Raymond and Michelle,
Thanks for the challenge and continued inspiration. I will get in contact with the host of the radio show to see what would the next step be. I want to help financially but I also want to put in some sweat equity.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
