Learn 2: In the United States
In a country like the United States it is often a temptation for people, here and elsewhere, to think that things work well.
However, in a country that is asked to stop providing food aid in Haiti (regardless of the timing in this situation, dumping as a problem is not new), is struggling with water infrastructure (in places like DC), and suffers from obesity b/c of its system (as highlighted in this video share on evoke), we are facing huge issues
I see the biggest challenge as developing the will to fix the problem while most people still have food on the table, even if that food is unhealthy or part of the systemic problem.
I personally always prefer the idea of people solutions, and the best solution to me is farmers markets, urban farming, and replacing a lot of the cut grass lawns in this country with sustainable food crop. We cannot count on large solutions. These are all underway all of over the place but need to become possible for all people, as well as becoming a normal part of life for all people.

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
