In a country like the United States it is often a temptation for people, here and elsewhere, to think that things work well.
I see the biggest challenge as developing the will to fix the problem while most people still have food on the table, even if that food is unhealthy or part of the systemic problem.
I personally always prefer the idea of people solutions, and the best solution to me is farmers markets, urban farming, and replacing a lot of the cut grass lawns in this country with sustainable food crop. We cannot count on large solutions. These are all underway all of over the place but need to become possible for all people, as well as becoming a normal part of life for all people.
