A crash course in changing the world.
I think that borrowing money from others is limited in usefulness unless the money is being used constructively to motivate the borrower. I've been keeping pace with microlending organizations such as www.kiva.org. These websites are places where people can visit to loan small sums of money to needy entrepreneurs in developing parts of the world. You can read about who you are donating to and their vision for their future. From what I understand as well, the payback rate is something around 95% for these microloans! In this sense, if you donate/lend you are helping others to achieve their dreams; something that many of us cannot attest to being able to do even though we are "swimming in money" (comparatively).
