My city is the globe

My future city is the globe.

The green earth has to be a global effort translated into national policies.

Start with few responsible countries:

If we take the CO2 emissions alone, and as per the NationMaster.com, 10 countries are responsible for 70% of the emissions.

So, to solve the global problem one must start with the few most countries affecting the biosphere, with carbon dioxide emissions, industrial ga****, hence affecting the rain forests, causing global warming, depleting O3 layer, causing increased cases of cancer and other health problems.

That would be remedy 1: to control industrial waste and pollutants.

Remedy 2: would be to prevent, and convert our way of living into environmental friendly ways.

This starts with 2 things:

- Awareness

- Knowledge

Globally, each nation will have a public awareness campaign material, targeting the child, youth, men, families, business and corporate communities, public, civic and private centers, with a message:

- How can you make a cleaner environment to live in ?

- Why do you need to preserve your environment ?

- Consequences, proof ?

- What’s next ? the multi-mechanism national plan:

Mechanism in daily live

Target – the child, youth, women, family, School life, Public places…

Here comes the knowhow in:

- Preserving water, using grey water, making dams, fighting water desalination and desertification, managing water, Reclaimed water reuse in industries, landscaping and agriculture

- Water treatment plants

- Agriculture, planting the right crops, irrigation…

- Awareness towards bio-degradable material, towards safe practices, organic food, natural pesticides and fertilizers…..

- Cleaner energy using water, wind, solar energy, and energy conservation

- Recycling

- Waste management

- Awareness, education and incorporation in schools curricula

- Eco building, eco clothes..etc

- Supportive policies like reduced taxes on eco production, projects and products.

A hotline or call center can be associated with the public announcement campaign, for individuals, schools, corporates,..etc who want to make a difference and adopt a method of remedy or preservation.

An incentive done by the authorizes, like tax exceptions, for food ration, can be given to motivate national moves.

Fighting poverty, creating employment or social economics and food security, because hungry people think about how to find food, first and preserve nature, second, if at all.

Finally, create economical commitment from industrial and super nations towards cleaning the globe and preserving it, and…. imposing a social and environmental tax or fee on any national project, that goes as income into special national fund that is pre-programmed and connected the initial global initiative and helpdesk, so that the funds are channeled, as per priority into environmental friendly projects.
