Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

I did go about testing this prototype and did some mathematical calculations. based on real wind turbines, not my clunky prototype. My idea could make real turbines around 75% more efficient when generating electricity. Based on the outrageous cost my power company charges, they should be able to make up the extra cost of adding the panels to all their turbines within a month.

Due to the prototype's small size, using a converter, i managed to charge anything that consumes less power than a cell phone. (mp3 players, BlackBerries, iPhones, etc.).

This idea was suggested to me by Nick Heyming http://www.urgentevoke.com/profile/NickHeyming

If any one else has suggestions on how to further build on this project, I am open to suggestions.

I might use it for my evokeation later if I am allowed.

Way to go! I'd love to see a video of your turbine in action. So it uses solar panels on the blades and electrodynamic induction to charge a battery?

Well i had a backpack that had solar panels on it that could charge phones and ipods and such, so i disconnected it and hooked it up to my windmill. Not exactly a practical way to charge a phone, but this shows that it could easily be connected to an existing power grid.
(My video camera is having some technical difficulties so i'm not sure i can post a video soon.)

But thanks for the idea Nick!

karamveer: great stuff! isn't there someone you can borrow a video camera from? I really would like to see some visual evidence of this.

this is important stuff, and this is where innovation can be found. true innovation, not just blabla about existing solutions :) great stuff!

well would I could do is just give you a series of pictures as proof.

In other words I am very happy that this is generating such a positive response and continues to inspire others.

Plus due to the small scale of the project it charges very slowly, neverthe less it does charge.
