A crash course in changing the world.
According to "Welt Online" 500 000 children in Germany are affected by poverty and hunger. On the one hand the parents don't have enough money to buy food. On the other hand, in my opinion the worse thing, if they have the money to buy food they do not know how to feed their children. The consequence of buying the wrong food like limonade is that at the end of the month there isn't enough money for a meal.
Because of the wrong food the children are not that capable in school and most of them get a lower graduation or no graduation.
To break out of the vicious cycle of poorness these children have the need of a healthy and regular noon meal. Organizations like "CHILDREN" encourage constitutions in social focal points in Germany with means.
The result of this help is that the children are fitter in school and don't become ill that much.
In my mind it is good that there are these organizations who help the children to get a good meal, but i think it would help more if the parents would also be involved in this projects. Maybe they could get schoolings what food they should buy and how to cook..
I don't understand the sentence: The consequence of buying the wrong food like limonade is that at the end of the month there isn't enough money for a meal. Why don't you have money at the end of the month when you buy limonade?
