Tell a story about where you are, and what you're doing, when Alchemy calls YOU to help with the Tokyo food crisis.
Not being totally familiar with the Tokyo food crisis, I am with others. But the best thing for me to do is plan ahead so that PLANS will work.
A food crisis tells me that there is either a shortage of food in a particular area, that there is something wrong with that food that exists or that there is going to be an impending shortage of food for a population.
Ten years from now, imagining a famine existing in Tokyo, I would strive to come up with a plan that I would hope if not totally alleviate the problem, provide something to those of that population that would be as long lasting as possible.
- With knowledge of a food crisis, I would solicit as many for profit and non profit organizations to financially provide funds specific for Tokyo's famine, for the youngest to the oldest.
- With as much funds gathered (continuously), purchase long lasting food that would normally be purchased for long-term use, and that can be readily available and easy to prepare -- such as you would for emergency purposes.
- Plan ahead for water resources, whether it be installation of wells, pipelines or the like or insure that those exist are fully operational and will be for longer than 10 years or more.
- Communicate with the sources of Tokyo -- their heads of governmental agencies to plan ahead for storage means. Perhaps there are areas here non-perishable grains/other items may be stored.
- Speaking of grains, perhaps there can be harvesting done so as to provide food for Tokyo so that by the time the 10-year mark hits, there will be a provision of food sources.
- Make a plan or contractual agreement with other countries to share with their sister country in their time of need. Solicit help in advance and contract from these countries to provide food and food supplies to Tokyo.
With this I would hope out of it all, many of the proposed thoughts are reliable, and can be implemented with the proper people, commitment and planning ahead.
