A crash course in changing the world.

CHRISTIAN VOLUNTEER SERVICE INTERNATIONAL (CVSI

CHRISTIAN VOLUNTEER SERVICE INTERNATIONAL (CVSI) is creating a niche in the not-for-profit and social entrepreneurship sectors in Ghana. They are involved in poverty alleviation through the establishment and capacity building of rural co-operatives and community based enterprises, health, education and empowerment of women and children.

This organization stands out to me as one which helps men, women and childrfen in the areas of living. Their overall mission is to alleviate poverty, which people in less developed nations can experience hardship in a number of ways. That in itself speaks for itself.

Health issues, education concerns as well as agricultural needs of needy people are key concerns in many countries; this organization's key focus is the betterment for individuals in these areas, in which they partner with the private sector for support. They indicate that networks have been developed where even stronger partnershps are coming to together for support the tasks at hand.

Women and children are being taught how to live life in a proper, morally and ethically way for their human development, in such a manner that they can pass it along to their children. I would assume that some of their teaching are from a spiritual nature of which they are being taught from the Holy Bible.

Through the transformations they are taking these individuals throughk they are teaching strong indepedence.

They desire for entrepreneurs to reach out to their own communities to spread the message of hope to their underprivileged areas

Mission work is a key objective which encompa**** support to underprivileged nations.

Teaching individuals proper education, as well as how to become self-sufficient, employable and so on are key obejectives. I am in support of these efforts.

Not only are education, self-sufficiency, entrepreneuship kiey focuses, but community concerns on health, teaching HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. I believe this is a high priority for any underprivileged nation as they do not have the urgent resources of many of us have and need education in health areas as key to prevention from this disease and many others.

In all, the social innovation efforts of Christian Volunteers is one that I desire to follow as they continue to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and bring healing to the minds of many.

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development.The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
