Each generation feigns the same games
Toys in the wood,
boys in the hood,
Subterfuge, secrecy weapons, exchanged,
A wh*** world of fresh chaos
just a short step away,
Too bad or too crazy or too blind to changeEach turning century runs the same course
Innovation depends
on war without end
New inhumanity condoned and endorsed
As we market our scruples
for sub-primes and futures,
Too mad, too lazy, too hooked on the harmIn this new millennium games pave the way
for a new age of fools
and new forms of play
Global security, profit and pay
armies untouchableand tax deductable
Too childish, too aged, too wicked to change
'Evokation' of any new global status quo is surely impossible without considering the profitability of global warfare under the current model and how that can be tackled. As long as there is profit in producing weapons, starting conflict and aggressively securing resources, equality and fairness can never exist and any efforts to make the world a more equitable fate will fail. So I guess that makes me a 'Doomer'?

Fourth of July on the Lake
This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
