A crash course in changing the world.
John Paul Cassil-
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in three people are affected by a lack of water to meet daily needs. What’s worse, almost 6,000 people die every day due to a lack of safe drinking water, 2 million people every year. These people suffer simply because they do not have one of the things that the developed world takes completely for granted — clean water.
John's trying to help by thinking of creative new ways to help people in need of good quality water. He has succeded. John has made a water tower called the "dripper".
How ever this is no ordinary water tower; it is more of a series of platforms, that are raised up to a proximate 3 metres high. There are about 4 platforms in one tower. These platforms are filled with finely woven strands of rope.
The rain then comes from the sky down onto the platforms. It slowly drips through the rope and onto the next platform layer. Which is how it got the name Dripper. Once the rain has completed the tower it falls into buckets at the bottom. As it goes through the rope it is slowly purifying and ridding itself of all traces of dirt and mud.
