A crash course in changing the world.
Wave Energy
If you have not seen the movie, "Home", you should. It shows amazing images of the wh*** world, from the air. In order to make the film available to everyone in the world to see, it is hosted in its entirety by Youtube. And at 1 hr 33 minutes, that is a very generous thing. It is mentioned also in Deborah Cazden's blog.
What I was intrigued by, as were my students, is the wave energy generator which is shown at the end of the film. Watch and see if you aren't amazed, too. They call it a sea snake or something. It's a floating electrical generating system which uses the up-and-down motion of the sea to generate electrical energy. Here is another, smaller example of it, from a company called Checkmate. Their wave generator is called the Anaconda. There is also an animation of it here.

The meal
It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
