Why People Should Get Spinning Rims On Their Cars - ACT3

Just throwing a random idea out there. We can be more efficient in powering our vehicles. I know many will post blogs about adding efficiency to vehicles, but I'm sure that not too many people have thought of this:
Imagine the spinners on your car powering your car. When a car stops, the rims on a car with spinners will continue spinning, because of the momentum of the rims. Fortunately, that momentum of the rims can be used for energy. Little turbines on each wheel can generate energy from the spinning of the rims, which can be diverted to the engine of the car (let's hope it's an electric car, too).

Using spinning rims on cars for energy, we can reduce the amount of energy expended, seeing as each stop amounts to a small boost in power, thus resulting in less need for refueling or recharging.

Have a nice day :)

I'm sorry to say but this doesn't work. Because energy cannot be created or destroyed, the energy in the rims has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is the engine. By adding rims you're adding extra weight which means the engine has to burn larger amounts of fuel to move the car. The energy you get back from these rims by placing motor on them would not amount to the extra energy the extra fuel used create due to friction and wind removing energy from the system.

Cool idea Daniel!

I quoted you in my LEARN3 blog post:

@ Jake, I understand that there are many ways this could go wrong. I'm just saying that if we have rims on our cars, we should have them moving for extra power. I'm not saying that it'll make up for it 100%, probably not even 5%, just to add some efficiency, using energy that would've been otherwise wasted. Thank you for the constructive criticism, Jake.

Current hybrid cars yous the energy from breaking to charge the battery. My honda accord has it. So, every time I stop it charges my battery. I wonder if that is a different energy than that of what would be collected on the tire rims.

You could also have neat rims with a reason and not just for fun.

It's definitely something worth looking into. Maybe Jake is right and it wouldn't do anything, maybe not. Someone will have to figure that out for sure before we throw the idea away completely.

Jake take a look at my idea for a inductive electricity car. maybe that could be part of it? http://www.urgentevoke.com/profiles/blogs/act-3-using-alternative-f...

Keep on using that imagination! You'll run up against a million other people who will tell you an idea can't work. Perhaps it can't, but finding out why could lead to an even better idea!

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

The meal

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Foods are vacc** sealded for easy…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
