EVOKE In A Nutshell
Where to begin?! Well lets start at the beginning: EVOKE is a crash course in changing the world. It's a network of social innovators putting their minds and initiative together to create solutions for the future problems of the world we live in. Every week features new challenges: a learn, act and imagine mission on a given problem. Once completed, fellow EVOKE agents have the chance to learn from others and form valuable alliances. The goal is to take note of our planet, knowing that the solution of it's problems lie with those who want and can make a difference.
EVOKE agents are rewarded with power points. Depending on the type of post, EVOKE agents award each other with one of the following powers: collaboration, creativity, knowledge share, resourcefulness, sustainability, courage, entrepreneurship, local insight, spark and vision.
EVOKE agents come from all around the world. EVOKE is a global community tackling global problems. Agents learn which communities are facing similar problems, why and what can be done to help. People join EVOKE to grow personally and to open their eyes to the problems that will face our planet. They want to be a part of the solution and make contributions for the "greater good".
The ethics of being an EVOKE agent are simple. Be innovative and constructive. Be a good criticizer and take criticism with appreciation. Collaborate with other agents to produce better outcomes. You need to constantly keep in mind that you are working towards finding solutions.
EVOKE sparks people to think and go figure. It inspires and makes agents want to help. It's an amazing network full of people who have the same ideals and goals: EVOKE towards a better planet.

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal.
