Urgent Evoke

A crash course in changing the world.

Ten years after this, I will be (Imagine 1)

As I looked at the act section for mission one, I could barely say that I learn to live from everyone. So it's hard to follow just one of them directly. So I decided to do this section instead, which asks me to tell me what am I going to be in the next ten years?

If I look back to the year 2000 (ten years ago), and ask my little self to tell what was I going to be doing at 2010, I'll probably hear an awesome answer. That's too late, I'm here now. But several thing I noticed, is that I have never figured out what I would be today. Because I lived just for the present, and that's also what I do now.

But I'm not that bad at 'imagining things', I'll probably look for something that is not yet found, just like what I did in these 10 years. For the past, if you really want to know, read the italic text. For the present, if you really want to know, read the underlined text. For the future, if you really want to know, read the bold text.

I was writing a novel and drawing a comic back then when I was 6 years old. I also tried to make a console game using traditional and manual methods (now I think that that was a heck of a kid I was). But nothing more. I did love computers and stuffs like maths, comics/mangas, building miniatures, and games. Probably if I were to be asked about what I would be 10 years later (or today at 2010), I wouldn't say that I'd be what I am today.

What
I am today, is a student, which is still digging on what I was doing ten years ago: literary, comics, and games, especially computer games. The fact that I haven't changed what I did a lot still tells me that I shouldn't change a lot because I don't have to, and I don't want to, and I probably can't. However, I am learning something new, I never thought that I would be able to do these (my works, my accomplishments)things ten years ago. But "these things" are just not what I wanted my life to be. But in fact, now for me, life is about "these things". I'll gladly live it as it is. And now I'm joining the agents of evoke to learn something new, once again, for my next ten years.

Here's for the future, are you interested? I am, but I can never guess what I will be, because I've changed too much on the previous years. I think I'll be either a game developer or a comic artist, or both of them, or none of them at all. But what I think I will always do, is that I'll always learn to do new things and that I'll try to find a better way of living for those around me, if not everyone. And I'll much or less remember this game for sure.

That is probably all that I can share and imagine, thanks for reading whatever you have read.

Keep on trying to find your place and I like how you set goals. Courage... that is what you need to know when to hedge your bets, and when to just go with one goal (or two: artist & developer? I've met a couple like that)

Thanks. Yeah, I need a lot of courage both to defeat what is called time and to complete all of my current responsibilities. Two birds to throw with one stone...

"I love that you've brought this to attention. An extensive database of uncommon but resistant and hardy plants/foods could be developed and organized by climate. Ease of growth and processing should also be taken in to account. I will try to…"

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. In addition the Stinging Nettle consists…See More

It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
