A crash course in changing the world.
my favourite secret which i learned from the evidence was that you have to understand.
to simply say you have to be creative, innovative and all the other things isn't where you should start. sure they do play important parts of the process but without understandability, these things cant take place.
to understand you have to talk, listen, and observe. You have to have to have full understanding before you can make a solution. there is a lot of evidence to support this, for example. Donald Trump will not simply invest in multi-million dollar projects without fully understanding what hes investing in, what his returns will be and what the project is going to look like, to name but a few.
the above example can be related to a social innovator. how can one simply be a social innovator without understanding what actually needs to be done. they wouldn't just be able to simply act and solve major problems without good understandability of the situation.
to understand would help you change the world by actually knowing what needs to be done and what should be done. understand what the people need so that you can help provide it. too often people react without fully understanding and this leads to further problems or temporary solutions. if people took the time to understand the world would be a different place.
therefore my favourite and most important secret would be to understand. without it you can not act properly. all other things would take place once you understand.
