Future of Money - Imagine

EVIDENCE TAG:
IMAGINE5
STATUS:

It's April 1, 2020, and Citizen X needs YOU to help report on breaking economic news.

A new local bank, exchange, or currency just opened up for business -- and you're the closest shadow journalist to the scene.

Your mission: File a breaking report on the new operation before anyone else gets to the story.

Make sure to report on all the important details:

  • What is it called? Where is it?
  • Who created it? How does it work?
  • What community does it serve? What problem does it solve?

Of course, without visual proof, it's all just rumors. So back up your story by adding at least one original video, photo, or artwork (created by YOU) to bring your news story to life.

Your objective:

Go beyond words this week to bring us breaking news from the future of money. Report on a new local bank, exchange or currency. You must include an *original* video, photo or artwork with your report.

This objective is worth +15 creativity.

Get credit for your evidence! After you submit your evidence in a blog post, photo or video, go to the newly posted evidence page and log your evidence for this objective. Then you'll receive credit on your profile page!

The Riverside Bank just opened near Atlanta, Georgia. The founder of the bank, named Tim Riverside, gives half of the company's profit to poor countries that don't have a lot of money. People from countries say, "He's a blessing from above".

The Whischire Bank opened a week ago in Savannah, Georgia. The founder of this awesome bank, George Whischirem, is giving half of it's income to third world countries. To the people in need of help. Some people say, "He is like an angel from heaven!"

New York Bank, Frett Name
The bank just donated money for healthcare all across the world, for poorer people. The creator was a generous man who started the bank, and seems to be what a employee says " The nicest man I have ever met!"

New Atlanta bank, PNC

A newcomer to banking in Atlanta is donating cash into local philanthropy with a $1.2 million pledge to help early childhood education. I think this is a wonderful bank, and you should check it out.

I remember when a bank company bought out the other competitor and everyone was happy because you now got the advantages of both banks.

A new shop has opened called Bits and Pieces. This shop allows people to hand in old clothes or even newish clothes that are too small for that person and they can also hand in old rugs, mats etc. These items are then made into new clothes for the poor that are affordable for them. Anybody can come in and start sewing bits and pieces together into clothing. The clothes will range anywhere between 1-5 dollars for those with some money and it will be free for those who have no money, this will be to help the poor who cant afford most things.

IMAGINE5: First Community Service Exchange to open in Nuremberg

Comment by Xanthe Koorey on June 10, 2012 at 9:51pm

A new cafe opened in Auckland, promoting fresh and organic foods. You simply buy your own seeds/crops and plant them in a huge outdoor garden that is open to the community. Once the veges, fruits, and grains have grown, everyone who planted something is welcome to come and make delicious food for themself! This cafe is good for people who are interested in healthy eating, or just want to try something new! It's an excellent idea, and you only pay for what you eat!

A cool new store has opened in California called Grow Ur Own. This store is designed to stop obseity in America by encouraging people to grow their own food and try new recipes. When you become a member you are given a large patch in the outdoor garden, and you can purchase packets of seeds for most things, including the breakthrough pasta plant! Lessons on gardening are avalible for a small fee and so are cooking cla**** for every age and ability.

A Brand-New cafe has moved into Spain!!!!! It's called Chev Pinot. 3 flat mates have created this cafe, and it is on a sunny hill so that the customers can have their meal/drink in the sun, and it is also solar powered and wind powered, and it is not very expensive either. The community is in the Spain community, and it solves the problem of power so money and it has outside tables.http://www.arch-times.com//HLIC/15e5cea84e6c9d008c93b1ce4a3fa219.jpg

A brand new cafe has moved in to the city center of Christchurch. The cafe is called 'Serve Yourself Cafe' and is owned my Christchurch local, Wendy Moore. It is a self- serving cafe, where you serve yourself and make your own food with the provided ingredients, instead of staff serving you. This is why it is now the new cheapest cafe in Christchurch, as there are not many staff so the customers do not need to pay for how much work the staff would put in to making the food, drinks, etc. It is for the kind and honest Christchurch community and solves the problem of expensive cafes. It has a great outdoor setting and location with a lot of plants and flowers. A great money saver! http://www.public.asu.edu/~camartin/plants/Plant%20html%20files/Ros...

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
