The Functions of Money

Before all of you really get into the 'how to develop new forms of payment' thing, i think theres some basic stuff you have to understand about money.

the following is a quote from moneymuseum.com:

a) Money is used as trade or monetary unit: In a

pure trade

society farmer Fred will…

Giving stuff away actually works.

Actually, I have to admit this is not something we have never used before... but I dont think just because a lot of people are already participated in it makes this any less important.

so this is my post from 2 weeks ago:

In lieu of time, I will just quickly roll over point 3 from exhibit A, Embrace market mechanisms (Giving stuff away rarely works as well as

selling it.)
.

I am convinced, and so are others, that this does… Continue

ACT4: im good already

this might seem strange to some of you, but i really do not have neither money nor time to actually get involved right now - and considering its raining right now (which is the only reason i havent left for the library to do research) and has been for the last week, there is no water shortage anyone would have to be concerned about in my area.

but over 18 months from 07 to 08 i have raised about half a million dollars for wwf, bund and the red cross (i dont know the exact number, but… Continue

Thanks for your blog comment!

I have to admit I didn't directly think of disabled people. Thank you for pointing it out.
I think anyone using a wheelchair or a hand cycle everyday could (most likely) produce more energy then an average gym visitor. The energy can be collected with a simple dynamo charger. I'm sure no disability would have to stand in the way of a person retrieving their energy. We just have to put some extra effort into connecting the right technologies with different ways of human energy production.

Grtz.

Sometimes it is good to get positive and friendship words. By saying thank you to someone it means a lot. Appreciating something create a good environment. I am so interested to you my new friend. What do I mean? You are doing Economics which is one of favorite module besides doing Accounting. I did Rural Development last year. You know what, I was so impressed with debates, groupwork and Research programmes. I have a lot of knowledge to share but due to time and studies, I cann't commit myself. Thank you, you are welcome to say and comment about anything.

Glad you are... Well, What I am looking for for now, is Allies and Advisers.
These are people who can provide input. In the next couple of days I will have my draft concept ready to share - around the same time I would love to get more to input. :) Hope this makes it more clearer...

Agent Jan, that was first! Now I know how fast EVOKERS can be at responding to emergencies. :)
Well, I am writing a proposal for Evokation - Its about Agriculture in Developing Countries - more like a report on Food Access and Food Availability.
Is this something you would be interested in?
I am from an agricultural background with a Computer Science profession so, I am also seeking to explore ICT4Agriculture.

Fourth of July on the Lake

This past weekend was the annual celebration at the lake house in Connecticut. It is amazing that the lake is still so clear and beautiful after all these years. The watershed association has done a wonderful job protecting these waters from the damaging effects of development. The wood grill was finally ready to cook on, so we didn't miss the propane tank fueled grill anymore. The food actually tasted fresher than in the past and was easy to keep fueled.Dad was very proud of the solar hybrid…See More

Stinging Nettle

In this blog post I will focus on a plant that is abundant in our nature, and which is immensely nutritious. It's of course the Stinging Nettle. Let's start with the chemical constituents of this plant:37 % Non-Nitrogen-Extracts19 - 29 % Ash9 - 21 % Fiber4 % Fat22 % ProteinOnce the leaves are drid, their protein content can reach an astounding 40 %, which is much higher than beef, which even under the best of circ**stances can never exceed 31 % protein. It is 7'oclock, I was late home from work due to an assignment that i wanted to get ahead on. By the time I get home I am feeling extremley tired and I cannot be bothered to make a proper meal. I walk to the fridge and open it to see what there is for me to eat. All of the out of date foodstuffs have been automaticaly thrown away by the fridge, they will be recycled tomorrow as animal feed or something. I see i have organic local eggs and some local cheese. Future

FutureToday is 2020/1/1. It is just like yesterday. The war is still continuing. It has started since 2010. In 2010, that year was a horrible year. Almost every energy ran out. Every country’s governments were crushed down at the same time. There were riots everywhere. All of the big company’s bosses were killed xdeadx in the riots. Troops fought each other everywhere. Food was bought up xawayx at once. There were no more food supplies in any shops. The economy was all crushed down. All the…See More

public servants

The exchange works directly for state and public workers and servants. It gives them credit in exchange for the amount of public work they contribute to the community. The more constructive they are based off a base rate the more credit they recieve.
