The idea is to have a relay around the world carrying one bottle of water that was sourced from a depleting natural resource. All along the way the runners would drink water that was provided through water neutral methodology. The running would take place in the mornings and evenings because there is less heat then and so less need for drinking water as well!

We use rain water resevoirs to collect water to use around the house for non-potable uses! I also try to re-use gla**** as much as possible before washing - especiall if I am only drinking water.

Big corporations are huge wasters of water but they also have the money to innovate and make sure this does not keep happening!



My two fav recent examples are from a well know company and a less known one:



1. coca cola : it used to take 17 L of water to make 1 L coke...but coke has now made it its mission to get that down to 1:1 instead. A noble goal and one that will save them money too. The are currently at 2.1L water to 1L coke which is much better.

It's 2019, Dec 31st. I am with my family and best friends and we are getting ready to celebrate the New Year! All the food and wine is from local organic gardens. The electricity is from a combination of water power from the local waterfall and solar energy from panels on our roofs.
