A crash course in changing the world.
"Imagine your best-case scenario future. Where will you be living in 2020? What will you do with your days? How are you changing the world on a daily basis?"
I imagine that ten years from today I will be retired from my day job. This will free up my time to work in many areas I am passionate about: problem solving, creativity, and education.

I took a look at the Pop Tech Social Innovators and selected James O’Brien, principal of Brooklyn Community Arts & Media High School, as an innovator to watch. While there are a great number of innovators on the site to follow, Mr. O'Brien is working in a field that is of great interest to me, and this makes him an ideal person for me to watch.

Innovate on existing platforms (We’ve got bicycles and mobile phones in Africa, plus lots of metal to weld. Innovate using that stuff, rather than bringing in completely new tech.)
